Reviews for Trattoria Da Marino (di Crescenzio Elio)
Review highlights
Based on 449 reviewsTrattoria Da Marino (di Crescenzio Elio) is widely praised for its authentic Italian cuisine deeply rooted in the Veneto region's traditions. Reviewers appreciate the family-run atmosphere, warm hospitality, and the quality of homemade dishes, particularly pasta and local specialties like domestic ham and herbal soft drinks. The restaurant's cozy, traditional setting, including a pleasant terrace, adds to its charm. While service can be slow due to the small, family-operated team, most guests view this as part of the genuine experience rather than a drawback. Overall, it is regarded as a great value for money destination for those seeking an intimate and authentic dining experience away from tourist-heavy venues.
This restaurant is very good I strongly recommend it. Everything in this restaurant is domestic. I especially recommend the special ham and domestic soft alcohol from herbs. It is true, that it takes time to be served, but the reason is that it is a family restaurant and only two people are here. The price is also good, I think that 10€ for a big portion is more than good.
Very nice and traditional, italian restaurant. Pasta was great and host is very kind and welcoming. They have a nice terasse too!
Nice and cosy little place, very original, fantastic home-made pasta and meals. Family-run, very friendly people. THE recommendation in the area once you're looking for some authentic place to eat and chill.
If you are looking for a very typical and traditional IT Restaurant with deep root into the Veneto region culture I warmly reccomend you visit this place. For sure you may have some issues with language (unless you speak venetian Dialect ahah), but this also adds beauty to the place. Food is all made by them and it's supreme quality (especially considering value for money).
Authentic small village trattoria with great food and service. Recommended!
We stopped here by chance but we never thought that the risotto and sweets are so delicious , big quantity and so delicious risotto with good mushroom quality, calm and nice atmosphere with big terrace , prices are reasonable and owner is so welcoming loved it
Good, home-made food. We were the only customers, it's off the beaten path, doubtless great views in spring/summer, too cold to be outside in November. No English, Italian speaking and menus only. A nice beer, hand made pasta, lovely sauces. A little cold inside for winter.
